EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIO & AGE LIMIT FOR ADMISSION

1) B.Sc(Nursing):

  • a) Should have passed Intermediate Examination (10+2) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subject or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing) Examination, Andhra Pradesh or any Examination recognized as equivalent should have secured not less than 50% of marks in optional of the Intermediate Examination or equivalent examinations.
  • b) A candidate for Admission into B.Sc. (Nursing) ( 4 YDC Course) should have completed 17 years and should not be more than 35 years as on 13st December of the year of admission
  • N.B: Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years in case of SC & ST Candidates.

2) General Nursing and Midwifery:

  • a) Inter/ H.S.E /+2 or its equivalent. However candidates passed compartmentally and with ANY GROUP will also be considered after the merit candidates. Candidates, passed MPHW (F) (ANM) Course are also eligible.
  • b) For admission to Diploma in G.N.M. Course, the first, July is specified as the notional date for counting the age in the relevant academic year admission. The minimum age shall be 16 years completed and enter 17th year as on the 1st July of the year in which the admission is sought. The maximum age shall be 35 years. For S.C., S.T., and B.C. students, relaxation of upper age can be made for three years.

3) Multi Purpose Health Workers (Female):

  • The minimum educational qualification for admission into Multipurpose Health Workers (Female) Training Course will be passing in SSC (Xth Class) and minimum age for admission should be 15 Years.

4) Diploma in Medical Lab Technology :

  • The minimum educational qualification for admission into Diploma course (DMLT) will be passing in SSC (Xth Class) and minimum age for admission should be 15 years.

5) Certificate of Radiographic Assistant :

  • The Minimum educational qualification for admission into the Certificate of Radiographic Assistant Training Course will be passing in Intermediate with Bi.P.C or M.P.C. or equivalent and minimum age for admission should be eighteen (18) years. However, relaxation of age may be permitted in Case of SC/ST &BC candidates as prescribed in the rules.
